This 2024 Lexus GX550 has been transformed into a golf-inspired transporter.
It's a one-off collaboration between Lexus and Malbon Golf, and it wears a green topographic wrap with a white roof and 22-inch wheel covers.
The GX550 Malbon Edition has second-row captain's chairs, but its third row has been replaced with a custom slide-out rack for golf bags.
Golf isn't for everybody, and neither is the 2024 Lexus GX550 Malbon Edition. However, for people who like to hit small balls with clubs whilst wearing eclectic golf outfits, then this Lexus x Malbon collaboration is par for the course.
Teaming up with Malbon Golf, a company that sells apparel and accessories for the sport, Lexus has turned a GX550 into a one-off special edition that will definitely stand out in the parking lot at even the fanciest of country clubs. Its body is wrapped with a green topographic map of what's presumably an imaginary fairway.
In contrast, it has a white roof that features a Prinsu roof rack with Pelican cargo boxes that are perfectly sized for big sticks such as drivers and fairway woods. If the heat gets to be too much, there's also a retractable Yakima awning mounted on top of the GX, which provides shelter from sunshine or rain. A set of white discs with the Malbon Buckets logo covers the GX's 22-inch wheels, and they're an eye-catching detail that completes the golf aesthetic.
Inside, Lexus says there are more Malbon Golf logos on the headrests, the center console, and door sills. This GX was also designed to carry a foursome and their golf bags. While there are a pair of second-row captain's chairs, the third row has been replaced with a custom slide-out storage rack. It holds four golf bags as well as accessories such as shoes, tees, and towels.
The 2024 Lexus GX550 Malbon Edition is one of a kind, so it won't be found at your local dealership. Instead, Lexus and Malbon plan to parade it around the country at various golf events throughout the rest of the year.
