Yahoo Autos 2024 Ram HD Rebel and Power Wagon Add Special Lunar Editions
The 2024 Ram Heavy Duty pickups add new Lunar Editions that bring additional visual flair and capability.
The special-edition trucks share an exclusive gray paint color, special graphics in gloss black, black bumpers, black tow mirrors, and 33-inch tires.
Both models are on sale now, with the Power Wagon trim starting at $75,205 and the Rebel starting at $85,490.
Ram has launched a new pair of special-edition heavy-duty pickup trucks, based on the Power Wagon and Rebel Heavy Duty grades and inspired by the moon. The Lunar Editions bring extra visual flair and a bit of improved capability over their standard counterparts.
Visually, the Lunar Editions mark themselves with an exclusive Ceramic Grey paint color, gloss-black graphics on the sides, powder-coated bumpers and wheel arches, two-tone black tow mirrors, and a body-color front logo. According to Ram, the gray and black color scheme is meant to match the color palette of the moon. Both trucks ride on 33-inch tall tires, though the Power Wagon retains its factory two-inch lift and rides on 17-inch black wheels, while the Rebel wears a set of 20-inch black wheels. Both models come with a factory-installed 12k-pound Warn winch tucked into their respective bumpers.
The cabin pairs vibrant Surf Blue stitching with black leather. Twill Film accents from the Ram TRX are used on the door, instrument panel, and console, with the console lid featuring a die-cast metal badge with either "Power Wagon" or "Rebel" embedded in Satin Chrome lettering. As a bonus, both trucks add a wireless charging pad, a first for each trim.
The Power Wagon uses the standard HD 6.4-liter Hemi V-8, which churns out 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque for all four wheels. The Rebel is equipped with the massive 6.7-liter Cummins diesel inline-six that produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. The Hemi-powered truck has a towing capacity of 10,610 pounds, while the Cummins diesel can pull a total of 14,900 pounds.
Both trucks come standard with a coil-spring rear suspension though either can be optioned with the air-ride rear suspension. The optional suspension automatically levels the truck when towing a trailer, or up to its maximum payload of 3690 pounds.
Both trucks can be ordered now, with deliveries expected to start in October. The Power Wagon Lunar Edition starts at $75,205 and the Rebel Lunar Edition at $85,490.
