  • The 2025 Lincoln Navigator sports a 48-inch configurable screen atop its dashboard.

  • This 2025 Lincoln Navigator features mostly new sheetmetal with only the doors carrying over from the current model.

  • Pricing is still to be determined, but Lincoln says the ’25 Navigator is set to arrive next spring as a 2025 model.

If you thought Lincoln wasn’t going to add the massive screen we saw in the Nautilus to its flagship Navigator, well, no one thought that. The 2025 Lincoln Navigator is finally here and brings along a massive update to Lincoln’s full-size SUV.

Alongside new styling inside and out, Lincoln’s latest Navigator features a massive, 48-inch panoramic screen fixed to the dashboard.

Powering this dashboard on wheels is still a turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that is standard equipment and will throw 440 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque through a 10-speed automatic transmission.

From there, power travels through the standard four-wheel-drive system before hitting the pavement.

While the powertrain, driveline, and doors are largely carryover, Lincoln’s latest Navigator features revised exterior styling, including a new nose and grille to accentuate the more vertical styling approach. Surrounding the grille is a new lighting array, with a lightbar that illuminates from the center out while you approach the vehicle.

At the rear, you’ll find a full-width tail lamp and a backlit Lincoln script to let the world know you didn’t buy a Cadillac. The most interesting part of the upcoming Navigator is the split clamshell-style tailgate, which is already featured on the BMW X5.

Designed to offer a seat as well as make for easier loading of the rear cargo area, the lower section folds down like a tailgate, while the larger upper section opens like a traditional liftgate. This split-gate design can be controlled to open both gates or only open the upper section.

Of course, the most important part of any luxury SUV is the interior. Inside this spacious three-row SUV, you’ll find the aforementioned massive screen, three rows of seats, and plenty of leather.

Lincoln is offering heated seats in the third row, massaging seats in the second row, and a rejuvenation feature in the driver’s seat.

Like other relaxation technology inside luxury cars these days, this Lincoln Rejuvenate system creates a timed relaxation session for the driver that triggers the screens to play a video, the climate-controls to adjust the temperature in the cabin, and the seats to transform into a massaging lounge chair.

Unfortunately for the frontmost passenger, this can only work on the driver’s seat. And, for everyone wondering, it can only happen while in park.

Controlling that big dash-mounted screen is a smaller 11.1-inch touchscreen, which controls what widgets will show up on the larger screen and handles the media functions of your Navigator. You can also watch videos and play video games on the large screen, like we saw with the latest Explorer, while the vehicle is parked.

Of course, big screens and consumer tech are almost secondary to high-tech driver-assistance systems. For the ’25 Navigator, Lincoln is including four years of its subscription-based BlueCruise hands-free driver system as standard equipment.

Running the latest version of BlueCruise means this Navigator has Lane Change assist and in-lane repositioning.

This Lincoln Navigator also adds what the company calls Turn Signal Viewer, which relays a video feed from the side that you’re signaling to change lanes. Obviously, this system isn’t exactly new, but it does add an extra layer of protection while navigating this Navigator.

All of this rides on a standard set of 22-inch wheels, which can be pushed up to massive 24-inch rollers. Managing those wheels is an adaptive suspension with continuously controlled dampers.

As for how much this new Navigator costs, Lincoln is holding that info until closer to its spring 2025 launch. Though, you can almost be certain it’ll set you back more than the current $85,260 base price. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see these new Navigators starting above $90,000 when they roll into dealerships next year.
