2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e Gets 54 Miles of All-Electric Range
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e will start at $61,050 and is on sale now.
The German luxury brand says the GLC 350e can travel up to 54 miles exclusively with its electric powertrain.
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e packs a 24.8-kWh battery pack.
The latest electrified version of the Mercedes-Benz GLC is finally showing off all of its details, and its price. The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e plug-in hybrid crossover will be able to drive up to 54 miles solely on battery power, the automaker says.
Joining that electric powertrain is a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 that’s good for 201 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. Combined with the 134-hp electric motor, this plug-in hybrid sends 325 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque through the standard 4Matic all-wheel-drive system.
Feeding this electric motor is a 24.8-kWh battery pack that can recharge at 11 kW AC or up to 60 kW with a DC fast charger.
As for how much this hybrid system adds to your experience outside of just electric-only motivation—well, consider the fuel savings. Mercedes says the GLC 350e is rated at 64 mpg-equivalent combined (60 mpge city and 70 mpge highway) while the electric motor works in tandem with the internal-combustion engine.
Without the electric motor’s assistance, the turbocharged 2.0-liter drops to 25 mpg combined (23 mpg city and 28 mpg highway).
Kicking off the GLC 350e trim walk is the $61,050 base model. Surprisingly moving up to the more premium Exclusive trim only adds $1,650 to the sticker price, but nets you a Burmester premium sound system and a 360-degree camera.
Going for the top-of-the-line Pinnacle trim is $3,600 more expensive than the standard, base-model and adds Heat and Noise-Isolating Glass and a head-up display. Mercedes says this GLC 350e is heading to dealerships right now.
