  • The 2025 Subaru BRZ starts at $32,265, which is $950 more than last year and $3275 more than when it debuted for the 2022 model year.

  • Stepping up from the entry-level Premium to the Limited trim pushes the starting price to $34,915, and the manual-only BRZ tS starts at $37,415.

  • For 2025, BRZs with the stick shift also add a Sport drive mode that sharpens the throttle response.

New cars—much like groceries–are seemingly getting more expensive by the minute. However, unlike a grocery bag filled with way-too-pricey potato chips, sports cars such as the Subaru BRZ make us forget about the inevitability of inflation and instead increase our dopamine levels as we snick through the gears in pursuit of the next apex. So, while the 2025 BRZ's base price rises $950 to $32,265, we're taking it in stride, as the little rear-drive coupe remains one helluva ride.

2025 BRZ Pricing

The BRZ's $32K starting price applies to the entry-level Premium, which is only offered with the manual transmission. Every BRZ has a 228-hp naturally aspirated 2.4-liter flat-four-cylinder engine. An eight-speed automatic is only available on the Limited trim, which starts at $34,915 with the stick shift and rises to $35,765 with the auto 'box. The top-spec BRZ tS only comes with three pedals. It starts at $37,415.

New for the 2025 model year, every manual-equipped BRZ adds a Sport drive mode that sharpens the throttle response. The Limited also now comes standard with seats featuring black microsuede upholstery and bolsters covered with red leather. Subaru says the interior's contrast stitching has a deeper hue and is now featured more throughout the cabin.

When the second-gen Subaru BRZ, and its corporate counterpart, the Toyota GR86, debuted for the 2022 model year, the Subie started at just under $29K at $28,990. That base price climbed to $29,615 for 2023 and to $31,315 for 2024. Overall, the BRZ's base price has climbed $3275 in three years, which isn't anything to hoot and holler about, but it's worth pointing out as sub-$30K, rear-wheel-drive sports cars in the U.S. have become extinct.
