2025 Toyota GR Corolla Base Price Rises to $40K, Automatic Adds $2000

What has three cylinders, 300 horsepower, and a new higher price? The 2025 Toyota GR Corolla, that's what. Toyota today released prices for the all-wheel-drive GR Corolla's new model year, and it's now available in three trim levels.

Pricing for the entry Core model jumped by $2360 and now starts at $39,995 when equipped with the standard six-speed manual transmission. Upgrading to the newly available eight-speed automatic runs an additional $2000, with the base automatic starting at $41,995. The Premium trim is next up. The manual version starts at $42,575 (up $1120), and the automatic starts at $44,575. Finally, the new Premium Plus grade starts at $46,650 in manual guise and $48,650 with the auto setup. Upgrading to the top trim also adds a bulged hood, functional air vents, and a carbon-fiber roof.

Meaningful Upgrades

While the horsepower figure doesn't change for 2025, Toyota did dial up the torque output to match the 2023 Morizo edition. The turbocharged three-cylinder now makes 295 pound-feet, 22 more than last year. Every trim also now comes standard with front and rear limited-slip differentials. The suspension is upgraded too, with new rebound springs reducing wheel lift during hard cornering. Cars equipped with the automatic transmission earn a new launch-control mode and adaptive cruise control.

For 2025, the GR Corolla also receives a minor facelift with an emphasis on the front end. The fascia is redesigned to help with airflow to improve cooling. New brake ducts suck air in more effectively, while an additional sub-radiator improves cooling for track usage. Toyota says the new models will start arriving at dealerships later this fall.
