2025 Toyota Land Cruiser's Base Price Rises Just $500 to $57,900
The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser starts at $57,900, which is only $500 more than last year.
The same small price hike applies to the higher-spec Land Cruiser which starts at $63,900.
For 2025, Toyota also gives its mid-size off-road SUV new lights inside the liftgate and a couple of enhanced driver-assist features.
We all know the drill. An automaker introduces a hot new model and then significantly increases its price the following model year. Well, one year after the Toyota Land Cruiser was reintroduced to the U.S. market, it receives the smallest of price hikes. For 2025, the entry-level Land Cruiser 1958 starts at $57,900—just $500 more than last year.
The 1958 trim can be identified by its round LED headlights, which give it a distinctly retro look. Inside, it has standard cloth seats (the front cushions are heated) and an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Four-wheel drive is standard on every Land Cruiser, as is a 326-hp hybrid powertrain that features a gas-fed 2.4-liter turbo four, two electric motors, and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The First Edition, which last year started at $76,400, is no longer part of the 2025 Land Cruiser lineup. That leaves a nameless trim with more standard equipment than the 1958. The list includes rectangular LED headlights, a larger digital gauge cluster and a touchscreen that each measures 12.3 inches, leatherette upholstery with ventilated front seats, and an electronically disconnecting front anti-roll bar. This higher-spec Cruiser has a $63,900 base price, which is only $500 more than before.
Toyota also gives the Land Cruiser a few new features. Its liftgate now includes integrated lights on the inside that help illuminate the cargo area. The suite of driver-assistance tech is enhanced with new sensors that improve the vehicle's pedestrian-detection capabilities and can now detect motorcyclists. Plus, lane-keeping assist adds a function that monitors the driver and can stop the vehicle in the event of a medical emergency. The higher Land Cruiser trim is also now available in a monotone Heritage Blue paint color.
