2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz Prices Start at $61,545 and Can Exceed $71K
The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz will start at $61,545 when it goes on sale later this year.
VW is charging $65,045 for the higher-spec, rear-drive Pro S Plus trim and $67,045 for the First Edition, and all-wheel drive adds $4500 to either version.
The EPA estimates the single-motor ID.Buzz has 234 miles of range; that figure only drops to 231 miles with the mightier dual-motor configuration.
Later this year, the 2025 VW ID.Buzz will finally make its way into dealers, and now we know how much it'll cost. Volkswagen today announced pricing for the U.S. version of its eagerly anticipated EV Microbus, which will start at $61,545 and even exceed $71K for the fully loaded First Edition.
Pro S Plus and First Edition Prices
The ID.Buzz lineup includes two trims and the First Edition. The Pro S represents the entry point, making it the least expensive version of the van. It's also only available with a single-motor rear-wheel-drive powertrain that's good for 282 horsepower. For just over $61K, the ID.Buzz Pro S comes pretty well stocked with desirable standard features such as 20-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats as well as a heated steering wheel and second-row seats, power-sliding rear doors, a power liftgate, and three-zone climate control.
Stepping up to the Pro S Plus increases the starting price to $65,045, but that brings a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a head-up display, a trailer hitch, and a "flexboard" that creates a flat load floor with the rear seats stowed. An extra $4500 adds a second electric motor that provides all-wheel drive and 335 horsepower. The AWD Pro S Plus also comes with an exclusive heated windshield and standard captain's chairs; the latter is a $695 option on the RWD version. Models with either powertrain can add a panoramic glass roof for $1495.
The ID.Buzz First Edition comes with everything that's available on the lower trims and a few more baubles for $67,045. It also has unique wheels and badges, heritage floor mats in all three rows, roof-mounted crossbars, and its glass roof has electrochromic tinting. Once again, all-wheel drive adds $4500 to the price, bringing the total price for that model to $71,545.
ID.Buzz Driving Range
The EPA has released estimates for the ID.Buzz's driving range, with the rear-drive version rated at 234 miles on a full charge. The more powerful all-wheel-drive ID.Buzz isn't too far behind, as it has a similar EPA-estimated range of 231 miles per charge.
