2026 Honda Passport in Full Camo Teased Off-Roading at Moab
The 2026 Honda Passport boasts more power from its 3.5-liter V6, and the Trailsport sticks with the i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system.
Honda says the 2026 Passport is scheduled to arrive at dealers early in 2025.
The automaker also says it plans to show off the 2026 Passport this fall.
Honda’s Passport is just around the corner, and the company teased its off-roading chops at Moab, Utah.
Known for its rugged, beautiful scenery and the Easter Jeep Safari, Moab might not be the place where you will take your next-gen Passport, but it apparently has enough capability for a development car to take care of some obstacles.
While Honda is still waiting until later this year to show off all the details headed to the upcoming 2026 Passport, the company has shined some light on what we can expect.
The 3.5-liter V6 is sticking around, which goes against the growing trend of shrinking engines. This engine is also apparently making more power than the current Passport's 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque.
This power will travel through a 10-speed automatic transmission, which will replace the current nine-speed auto. That new transmission will direct the power to the i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system on these off-road-focused Trailsport models.
Even though we know the broad strokes of the hardware heading its way, details about the rest of the ’26 Passport are still to come.
Honda says the Passport's full reveal is happening this fall, and you can expect these ’26 models to start showing up at dealerships early in 2025.
