This awesome Bus is selling at Worldwide Auctioneers this month.
Germany has had a hold on the European utility vehicle market for decades mainly because of their investment in Volkswagen. The auto brand got its start creating cars made for the average citizen to drive on the daily and eventually tried their hand at other crafts. One such automobile was the bus which served as a direct opposite of its Beetle cousin.
Take this 1967 model for example with 21 windows and more than enough space for as many passengers you can stuff in the back. Along with that, this is no ordinary van where the storage area might be pretty stripped down. In fact, you’ve got three rows of seating which look very comfortable in the various photos featured in the listing. The icing atop the cake for the interior is probably the red seat belts.
The interior is clearly up to snuff when it comes to quality but the exterior is an even better representation of everything that made the bus iconic. A red and white two-tone turns heads immediately and makes the van pop in traffic. All of this comes with the added benefit of having a nearly from-factory condition. Essentially, you’ll be driving around in one of the 1960s most memorable automobiles and you won’t even have to worry about its age.
