Our elected officials are meant to help the communities they serve, and apparently New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez really took that to heart. The 34-year-old representative sprung into action when her chief of staff’s Honda Civic was stranded with a dead battery.

As Mike Casca, Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff tweeted, “when your car battery dies on the capitol plaza, instead of calling aaa you just need @AOC.” The dude is probably right. He snapped a shot of her under the Civic’s hood messing with its battery terminals. At the same time, two police officers and one dude and a suit look on as she gets to work.

I guess you can call her… AAAOC *puts on sunglasses and screams*

Anyway, it’s cool to watch 1) a young person and 2) an elected official, actually know how to work on cars. I know jumpstarting a car isn’t exactly high-level mechanic work, but I’m always surprised by how many people don’t know how to do it – including AOC’s chief of staff.

For someone who doesn’t have much to do with cars, we’ve actually covered AOC a fairly good amount on this here website. A few years ago, we wrote about she was not – in fact – coming to take your cars away. We’ve also covered how she filed articles of impeachment against Supreme Court Justices Thomas and Alito because of the millions of dollars worth of bribes they’ve been accepting.
