Since 2009, Acura's front-wheel-drive compact has been a solid choice for buyers looking for a sporty, stylish, and competitively priced four-door. Given this successful recipe, Acura hasn't touched the TSX for the 2013 model year. Two engines and transmissions motivate the TSX, aka the Japan- and European-market Honda Accord. There's a high-revving 2.4-liter inline-four cylinder making 201 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque mated to a five-speed automatic or six-speed manual (torque is raised to 172 pound-feet with the manual). The four-cylinder is available in the TSX Sedan, Sport Wagon, and Special Edition, with EPA fuel-economy ratings ranging from 21/29 city/highway (Special Edition sedan with six-speed manual), 22/31 (sedan with five-speed auto), and 22/30 (Sport Wagon with five-speed auto). A 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 with 254 pound-feet of torque and a five-speed Sequential SportShift gearbox is a sedan-only powertrain (rated at 19/28 city/highway). In terms of style, the TSX's "beak" is small, and its wide and long proportions are attractive to buyers in this segment, says Acura. Features such as auto on/off headlights, leather-wrapped wheel, power/heated front seats, and dual-climate control come standard. The Special Edition adds unique body styling, grey wheels, sport pedals, red stitching, and a black headliner. The Sport Wagon adds a dash more practicality (cargo room grows to 66.2 cubic feet with rear seats folded) and uniqueness to the already highly usable package. See more... See Less

Overall
Pros Cons
How well vehicle handles in any road conditions Looks like all the other cars on the road: styling
So far, build quality. quiet interior, smooth ride yet firm. Sloshing noises when you have full tank of gas.
Power from a small 4 cylinder engine. smooth manual transmission. Slight torque steer when accelerating hard!
Seats: front seats are exceptional; very comfortable when driving long distances Visibility - very hard when sun sets: almost blinding even wearing sunglasses
Many things are included as standard features Back seats - not a lot of room
Look of the exterior - very sleek and sharp Comfort of driver's bottom seat cushion
Engine: good power and good gas mileage No back-up camera - should be standard for safety.
Stability of car on curves - car handles exceptionally well. The steering wheel is too high even at its lowest setting
Headlights provide terrific illumination on unlighted roads Interior - door jams, bottom of doors scuff easily
Engine: 4 clylinder has ample power Rear hatch tailgate gets filthy from road spray
