There’s some bad news for fans of Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond. According to the BBC, the former Top Gear hosts’ show is ending. The Grand Tour launched in 2016 on Amazon Prime as a response to the three hosts leaving the BBC’s Top Gear and has kept the beloved British crew together since. The final episode is reportedly filmed and is set to air in 2024.

The BBC notes, there are options being explored for a new incarnation of the show. However, it seems like the three hosts might enjoy having their own respective shows instead. Jeremy Clarkson hosts a Prime Video show dubbed Clarkson’s Farm, and James May hosts Oh Cook, which is also available on the streaming service.

James May’s appearance on the Today podcast might even suggest it’s not exactly the end of the trio reviewing cars. May said, “It’s time for a new format and a new approach to the subject because the subject has not been this interesting, I suspect, since the car has been invented.” This could mean the former Top Gear and soon-former Grand Tour hosts could find themselves reviewing cars in a different way.

Apparently, the final episode of the series is set in Zimbabwe, has already been filmed, and is expected to drop sometime next year, though Amazon Prime has yet to reveal the release date.
