Amazon Truck Joins In A Street Takeover

Video footage of an Amazon truck driving into the middle of a street takeover and doing a few “donuts” has gone viral. The result has been the driver getting fired and people either outraged or laughing hysterically about the incident. We just think it shows the current state of things in places like California.
Watch a Florida trooper risk everything to stop a fleeing armed carjacker.
First off, we wonder if the driver knows about this colleague’s truck getting looted during a takeover in the same area not too long ago. If so, this was either a really brave or really dumb move. Or maybe a little bit of both.
After all, the guy might have thought if he entertained the crowd they wouldn’t drag him out of the cab and beat him silly. It seems Amazon doesn’t feel his actions were done to protect himself or the cargo because after the video went viral the unnamed driver was fired.
In fact, company representatives told SFGate the display by the employee was “entirely unacceptable.” After all, the company doesn’t want to encourage more of its drivers to engage in street takeovers or whatever other foolishness.
That video shows the crowd of takeover dorks go wild as the semi spins around and around like a record player in the intersection they illegally shut down. At the end, several brain donors jump onto the back of the trailer as the truck blows through a red light.
Just like in most of these takeover videos, the footage is blurry and the person filming seems to forget they need to keep the camera stable. It’s like these kids who want to break the law also need videography classes so police and prosecutors have clearer evidence for later.
It’s unclear exactly when or where the takeover event took place. We just know it was somewhere in the Sacramento area, but there are so many there and in many other California cities that doesn’t really narrow it down. This is where the Golden State is these days, in constant disorder all in the name of “justice.” At least Amazon seems to understand the gravity of these illegal events.
