What's the Best Car You Can Buy for Less Than $15,000?

There are a bunch of fantastic cars you can buy for less than the price of a new Toyota Corolla. Which one do you like the most?

Personally, I think the E46-generation BMW M3 is a great buy at $15,000 right now. Used prices for decent examples are hovering right around that price, and for that you get one of the greatest-handling two-door, four-seat cars ever built, combined with a wonderful straight-six engine and clean looks. Maintenance issues are well-documented, so if you put time into finding a well-taken care of car, you won't be disappointed with your purchase.

Now we'd like to know: Which car do you think is the best buy for under $15,000? It doesn't have to be anything sporty like the M3, either-your choice can be anything, as long as it's a car you love that can be readily found for sale under 15 grand. Let us know in the comments below.
