If you want to go fast, you don't have to spend a lot of money. There are a bunch of cheap used cars out there with top speeds over 150 mph. Which one would you buy to break the 150-mph barrier?
My pick would have to be the C4-generation Chevy Corvette. With the upgraded 330-horsepower LT4 V8, it could crack 150-mph with ease. Prices on C4s hover at around $5000, making the performance-to-dollar ratio one of the best on the market. Sure, you're not getting the most luxurious interior or the greatest build quality, but if speed is what you're after, the C4 is a great choice.
Now we'd like to know: Which cheap car would you pick to take above 150 mph? It doesn't have to be something sporty like the Corvette either-it could be anything, as long as it can go above 150 mph from the factory, and can be purchased on the cheap. Let us know in the comments below.
