Around the North: Lamar Jackson reportedly ready to move on

The saga between the Cleveland Browns’ AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens and former MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson continues. Reports have now surfaced that suggest Jackson is ready to move on and trying to spark other teams to offer a contract.

“Per multiple sources, a representative for Jackson has contacted more than one team in an effort to spark negotiations aimed at a possible offer sheet,” Florio wrote. “The representative is not certified by the NFL Players Association.”

Though there might not be an end in sight, it is hard to see how Jackson would ever play for the Ravens again. Even if the Ravens match an offer Jackson gets if he doesn’t want to play there I don’t see how that ends anyway but ugly.
