Baby Urn Mysteriously Shows Up In A Stolen Truck

People who steal cars oftentimes don’t stop just there, which is why so many times when stolen vehicles are recovered other swiped stuff is found inside. But nobody was expecting to find a baby’s urn inside a truck that was stolen, along with property belonging to other victims.
Man gets his stolen truck back, finds gold bars inside.
To make things even weirder, the family who had the urn stolen didn’t even know it was missing. In fact, not only were they not aware it was swiped by strangers, they still don’t know when or how it was taken.
It sounds like the people who stole the urn might not have taken anything else from the family’s house. That leaves us with so many questions. After all, what material value would an urn have to someone? Surely they didn’t think they could sell it.
Was this just a meanspirited theft meant to inflict emotional harm on the family? Was the thief planning to hold the urn for a ransom?
We would love to know what else was found in the truck. A report from Fox 5 Vegas just says there were items from other victims. It unfortunately doesn’t tell us how many other people had been stolen from or what kinds of things the thief or thieves took.
What’s just as odd about this case is the fact the stolen vehicle was a moving truck, not a pickup. While thieves do steal those to raid the stuff kept inside, this one was apparently completely empty. Either the thief took the truck hoping it was loaded with stuff or they took it simply to store other stolen items.
Any way you slice it, this case is just plain weird. A lot of strange decisions were made by the thief or thieves, which must be fun to untangle as a police detective. At least the one family is getting their baby’s urn back.
