Basic Brake Upgrades Make the New Subaru BRZ a Track Day Beast

We drove the new-for-2022 Subaru BRZ last year and absolutely loved it. One of very few truly affordable sports cars still on the market, it's the perfect blend of usability and enjoyment you just can't find for a reasonable price anymore (unless you want a Miata).

But if there's one thing we had to pick that we didn't like about the new BRZ, it's the brakes. They're perfectly adequate for street use, but push them for more than a few laps on a race track, and they quickly begin to fade. With just a few minor upgrades, though, the 2022 BRZ is perfectly suited for continuous track abuse.
