Belltown Hellcat Owner Makes Yet Another Court Appearance

Belltown Hellcat owner Miles Hudson has made yet another appearance in court, this time over his $83,619 fine from the city of Seattle. He wants the court to vacate the default judgment for the fine issued back in June as his legal troubles continue escalating.

Road rage incident turns into fatal shooting in Arizona.

Hudson had an attorney this time and he was wearing a medical mask and suit instead of a whole head and facing covering, plus sunglasses from past court appearances. The attorney was requesting the judge vacate the court ruling for the city’s fine, arguing the process server didn’t serve papers to his client properly.

It remains to be seen if Hudson’s request to vacate is successful or not.

During the hearing, the attorney had people actively trying to block a news camera’s view of the Belltown Hellcat owner. After the hearing, Hudson’s legal team tried blocking a local reporter from Fox 13 Seattle asking questions.

That’s interesting considering the guy is anything but camera shy for is own social media accounts and even other social media influencers who want to interview him.

Really, the Belltown Hellcat case should be warning to everyone in the hobby and even those on the fringes. Using your performance vehicle to gain an online following isn’t necessarily bad, it’s just how you go about doing it that can get you into trouble.

If you think breaking the law and making everyone who lives around you angry is a good way to get rich and famous, just look at the mess Hudson is swimming in now.

This sort of thing could happen to the takeover crowd as laws around those illegal events get stricter. Same goes for street racing and similar activities. There are plenty of legal ways to enjoy your performance vehicle and if you’re making money sharing that with followers, you should be able to pay track fees.
