Ayrton Senna’s 1993 Honda NSX up for sale?

Ayrton Senna was many things: a Brazilian icon, a charitable human being, and perhaps the greatest race car driver to have ever lived. The three-time Formula One world champion, who lost his life in a crash at Imola in 1994, raced most of his career for the mighty McLaren Honda team. With that, Senna helped develop Honda's NSX, the high performance road car that made waves and has now become a classic. Acura are bringing out a new NSX, and by all accounts, it looks fantastic. But those that cherish the past may well prefer an original NSX. Fortunately, one has popped up for sale. But this isn't just any NSX. It was reportedly owned and driven by Ayrton Senna himself.

The seller claims Senna had three NSXs at his disposal. One was kept in his hometown in Brazil, the other at his villa in Portugal and the final one gifted to him via Mr. Antonio de Almeida Braga, a sponsor and mentor of the Brazilian ace, and kept near the Estoril racetrack. The seller states he has owned the car for 17-years, and that it only has 31,000 miles on the clock. He says it is completely original and even has the same carpets Senna used, "inclusive of his foot print."

Is this really the great Ayrton Senna's Honda NSX? If it is, its value remains practically priceless.

Just because, here's a video of Senna driving an NSX at the Suzuka racetrack, effortlessly changing gear using the heel-and-toe technique, sporting brown leather loafers. The man was a true legend.
