The Bugatti covered wagon: Flickr photo of the day

Among the many amazing cars at the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Calif., rests a row of what looks like rusted junkers which all turn out, upon closer inspection, to sport the name Bugatti. Like this wood-paneled 1929 Bugatti Type 40 Break De Chasse shot by goldiesguy, they belonged to one Fritz Schlumpf, who had his garage seized by the French government for several years, and which was sold to the Mullin museum on the condition that most of them never be restored.
