The Big Daddy of BMW's sedan lineup undergoes minor surgery for the new year. And by "minor surgery" we mean a new grille that has 9 slots instead of the predecessor's 12. The rest remains unchanged -- and that's not a bad thing at all. Those wanting a classic executive hauler should consider the iconic 7 Series that's available in short or long wheelbase rear-wheel or xDrive all-wheel drive configurations with turbocharged 6-, 8-, or 12-cylinder engines under its hood. There's also an ActiveHybrid edition capable of 30 mpg on the highway. Pick any flavor and you'll be greeted with utter luxury and comfort. All models come replete with adaptive xenon headlamps (LED headlamps are standard in the 760Li), power adjustable seats, Dynamic Damping with self-leveling rear air suspension, 4-zone climate control, and power soft-close doors. Long wheelbase versions add 5.4-inches to the short wheelbase version's rear passenger legroom. Buyers that want it all -- power, luxury, style, and technology -- will definitely want to opt for the 760Li. It's long and packed to the gills with nearly every available amenity in the BMW catalog. LED headlights, night vision and Head-Up Display, multi-view camera, active blind spot and lane departure warnings, rear seat entertainment systems, 19-inch wheels, Nappa leather, and heated/vented seating -- you name it, it's in the V-12 powered 760Li.
