2015 BMW X5 M

Up to 0 MPG city / 0 MPG hwy

To say the X5 has played an integral part in America's luxury SUV segment would be an understatement. It's a longtime player in the game, and for 2013, it continues on as a very versatile, fuel efficient, and great looking option for premium buyers. First, all X5s come standard with xDrive all-wheel drive, 18- or 19-inch wheels, folding rear seats, matte black roof rails, rear spoiler, adaptive xenon headlamps, and chrome exhaust tips. The sole Premium edition adds more option packages to the mix, while the sportier xDrive35i Sport Activity and V-8-powered xDrive50i allow buyers to check off boxes next to an M Sport Package (20-inch wheels, sport steering wheel, adaptive drive, sport suspension, aerodynamic kit) and M Performance Package (power bump to 315 horsepower). The hugely popular xDrive35d provides owners with a 26 mpg highway average. The full shebang is had at the X5 M level where you'll find a 555-horsepower 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 under the hood, an M-tuned 6-speed paddle-shifted 6-speed gearbox, M-tuned xDrive, 20-inch wheels, gargantuan brakes, quad tailpipes, and a whole lot of aerodynamic enhancement. Pros Cons
Diesel engine! huge torque. americans should buy more of these Gas pedal & brake - would like automation to extend them toward driver
I love the automatic liftgate especially when my hands are full. Radio - it sounds tinny and loses reception
Fuel economy: mpg 23 - fantastic for an suv because of diesel Heated seat is not as hot as i would like - last one was better
Car's design for visibility is exceptional Dual exhaust only works when turbo kicks on!
Seats - front seats are outstanding Terribly wrong navigation data and inability to correct it without paying $200
Engine power - more powerfull than previous model which was a little under powered Lack of led technolgy used in other bmws & other brands
Handling - drives almost like a sports car Tail pipes should stick out beyond car. it's always dirty there
Comfort seats - best seats i have ever had in a car. Running boards always get your pants dirty exiting car
Safety - the feeling of safety is incredible Mileage-tank is too small, requires refills too often
Headlights have halos: looks great Visor; too much outside noise; would love side assist
