Brand New Lamborghini Revuelto Has Paint Problems

When you shell out at least $700,000 for one of the hottest supercars on the market like this Lamborghini Revuelto, you might expect it to roll out of the factory in perfect condition. Unfortunately, that expectation seems to be more than a little unrealistic. If you think that’s outrageous, either your have never purchased a new supercar or if you have, you don’t know that much about paint.

Find out why Shaq keeps buying supercars he can’t even fit inside.

As famous auto detailer Larry Kosilla of AMMO NYC shows in a detailed video, the brand spanking new Revuelto his customer brought to him is a bit of a mess. Immediately, Kosilla spots buildup of dust, dirt, and leftover compounds on the pricey automobile.

But that’s not all. There are watermarks and scratches all over the otherwise beautiful Viola Pasifae paint. Plus, he noted mud caked in the wheel wells and door frames.

His first step is to give the Lambo a quick wash so he can better see what’s really happening with the paint. That’s when he spots compound built up in the body seams. Closer inspection reveals swirls in the paint all over the supercar from a rotary polisher, plus problems with sanding done in the factory.

Even worse, at least one section of the hood seems to have paint cohesion issues.

If that seems like too much to handle, for most people it would be. But Kosilla is a pro, which is why he’s not only popular with high-end clients like this Revuelto owner but also viewers on the internet. The man knows his stuff.

But even he has to work through some challenges doing paint correction on the brand new Lamborghini. It’s amazing to not only watch him at work but also listen to him explain what ultra-luxury automakers like Lamborghini and Ferrari are doing wrong with paint in the factory. We hope someone who works for these companies is taking notes.

Of course, the end result looks amazing. But you have to wonder why Lamborghini couldn’t have done all this work for such a huge price tag?
