Happy Carb Day!

The day that began as a time to adjust carburetors ahead of the Indy 500 has evolved to include music, food and plenty of tradition.

While no Indy 500 car has had a carburetor in more than half a century, it is still a crucial day for drivers to get in their final preparations for the race on Sunday.

Over the decades, big-name concerts have become as much a part of the day as the racing.

The 2023 edition will feature Grammy-winner Bryan Adams.

Soul Asylum, also a Grammy-winning act best known for a string of '90s hits including "Runaway Train," will open.

Check out the sights and sounds from the day below.
