Crystal Kung Minkoff Just Got Bangs & We’re Obsessed (PHOTOS)

In March 2022, Crystal Kung Minkoff took to her Instagram to share her “go-to hair products” after rocking a sleek style at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 30th Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party in West Hollywood. Among the must-haves were her FHI Heat Pro Series Digital Black Ceramic Styler ($220), Kérastase Oléo-Relax Advanced Hair Oil ($45), Oribe Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray ($69), and more. As for her secret weapon for volume and length, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member credited Mane Bae Hair Extensions as well as her stylist, Jessica Rose Gordon-Carson.

Crystal again paired up with both Mane Bae and Gordon-Carson for a new hair look we haven’t seen on her before: bangs.

“She bangs! (For the day),” the mom of two captioned a May 15 Instagram post of herself posing on the stairs with a high, slightly messy topknot and gorgeous fringe bangs. To complement the fresh look, Crystal wore a red eyelet midi dress with a defined waist, pairing the statement piece with cork block-heel sandals from Ann Taylor ($148), Bauble Bar earrings, and fresh rosy glam by makeup artist Deanna Marchese.

One word: obsessed.

Crystal’s bangs were temporary, however, as she noted in her caption. In addition to the Instagram photos, Gordon-Carson also shared behind-the-scenes details of the process, noting that the bangs were clip-in.

“When you trust your hairdresser to do things you would never do on your own,” the stylist captioned a post that showed numerous angles of Crystal’s stunning updo.

The spring-ready hair moment comes after Crystal made her “first-ever” trip to the White House on May 9 for the “AAPHI celebration,” which honored prominent Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. For the occasion, Crystal shared an Instagram post of herself twirling around in Washington, D.C., in a long-sleeved, high-neck dress with a dark floral print.

The West Coast ’Wife paired her frock with white booties and carried one of her famous designer handbags: a brown Gucci Diana Mini Tote.

“This reel is titled, ‘I’M ABOUT TO WALK INTO THE WHITE HOUSE AND [I’M] GIDDY AF! Thanks [Lesley Grosvenor] for styling my first ever visit,” the Real CoCo co-founder captioned the post. She also quipped: “And full disclosure: I will be posting a LOT of White House content today.”
