Dairy Queen is giving away free ice cream cones. Here’s when and how to get one
At Dairy Queen, the first day of spring comes with ice cream — and it’s free.
Customers who visit Dairy Queen on March 20 will receive a free vanilla soft-serve cone, the restaurant chain announced in a news release. The event marks Free Cone Day at participating stores nationwide.
The offer is available all day while supplies last, and no purchase is necessary. Mall locations are excluded, however.
“We like to think of Free Cone Day as the beginning of our favorite season – treat season!” Maria Hokanson, executive vice president of marketing at American Dairy Queen Corporation, said in a statement.
The free cones, complete with Dairy Queen’s classic curl, are limited to one per person.
