From Road & Track

Donkervoort, the small Dutch company that specializes in building lightweight, high-power track toys, unveiled its GTO-RS back in 2016. Since then, we haven't heard much about it. Fortunately, Carfection got their hands on one, which means we finally get to learn what exactly they're all about.

Host Henry Catchpole was lucky enough to spend some time with the GTO-RS in the Netherlands, and finds it brutally quick and demanding to drive. Power comes from turbocharged inline five-cylinder engine sourced from the Audi TT RS, sent through a five-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels. There isn't any power steering or power brakes, so you really need to work for it if you want to go fast.

And because most of the car is made of carbon fiber, it's lightweight, which means it's incredibly capable both in a straight line and through corners. It also sounds like it has half a V10, which is pretty cool. Check out Carfection's full video review here.
