The S60’s styling looks as fresh today as it did when it was introduced, and although it doesn’t match the more modern Volvos with which it shares a showroom floor with, it still looks upscale. The performance-oriented Polestar model looks dashing in the available Cyan Racing Blue paint job-a traditional Polestar color-and the Cross Country model adds off-road-ready looks to the S60’s stately design.

It’s rare when a car is offered in three different configurations, but the S60 sedan lineup is broad, ranging from the compact standard model to the stretched-wheelbase Inscription and Inscription Platinum to the Cross Country sedan, which offers an SUV-like ride height and 7.9 inches of ground clearance.

Although last revised back in 2014, the S60’s handsome sheetmetal and upscale appearance still look great today, even if they don’t fit in with the rest of the Volvo lineup’s family of sedans and SUVs. All models come standard with handsome wheels, dual chrome exhaust tips, a panoramic sunroof, and tasteful chrome detailing. Sporty R-Design and Polestar models dial up the design with rear deck spoilers, larger wheels, and more aggressive front bumpers.
