At the final World Endurance Championship race of the season in Bahrain, organizers put together a tribute video for retiring 24 Hours of Le Mans winner and ex-Formula 1 pilot Mark Webber. During that video, drivers and teammates alike joined to give thanks to Webber's contribution to the motorsport world, including Fernando Alonso. But Alonso does a bit more than wish Webber a nice retirement.

During the video, at about 2:05, as Alonso pays tribute to Webber, he drops quite a few choice sentences regarding his personal future in motorsport.

"You've had a fantastic career and now all your success with Porsche. You didn't wait for me there, it would have been nice but you'll still be around and I will ask you many things when I join your adventure," he said.

Though he doesn't name anything specific, Alonso is very obviously hinting he'll be driving for Porsche at the 24 Hours of Le Mans sometime in the future.

The two-time champion hasn't exactly been silent regarding his feelings in Formula 1, telling reporters in July he's "not at all happy" in the sport, suggesting Le Mans as the best option after his contract runs out next year.
