In the extensive pantheon of vehicles under the GM banner, GMC serves as a semi-luxury stepladder between Chevrolet and Cadillac. The brand started in the early 20th century and produced some of the earliest trucks intended for commercial use.

The Terrain is the smallest vehicle available in GMC's lineup and is available with a 182 horsepower 2.4-liter I-4, or a 301 horsepower 3.6-liter V6. Powered by the same V6, the larger Acadia is available with seating for 8 passengers.

Sandwiched between the Tahoe and Suburban from Chevrolet and the Escalade from Cadillac, GMC offers the Yukon in several wheelbases and configurations including Hybrid models. Changing little more than the grille, GMC's Savana cargo van is for all intents and purposes identical to its Chevy Express counterpart.
