Harley Vs Toyota Crash Shows A Dangerous Reality

We love motorcycles, but the sad reality is they provide little protection in a crash. With cars getting larger, drivers being increasingly distracted, plus the whole road rage trend going on, we don’t ride on public roads at his point. Sadly, this crash between a Toyota RAV4 and a Harley-Davidson perfectly illustrates why.

Confusion abounds still over what cars rapper Aaron Carter owned while he was alive.

According to OnScene TV, all it took was one person in a small crossover trying to make a U-turn in Fullerton California for the deadly scenario to unfold. That person didn’t make the turn fast enough, causing traffic to back up.

The motorcyclist wasn’t anticipating everyone slamming on their brakes, taking evasive action to try avoiding a collision. In the process he was thrown from the bike and into oncoming traffic. That’s when the Toyota RAV4 ran the rider over, killing him.

It looks like the motorcycle also ended up underneath the same RAV4 or another one. The bike caught fire, torching the Toyota. That driver apparently wasn’t hurt, but this could’ve been a double fatality.

We’re sure everything unfolded so quickly people had split seconds to react. When drivers (and riders for that matter) aren’t paying attention to the road, situations like this can quickly turn catastrophic.

It’s unclear if anyone was charged in this incident, and we don’t know all the details, but it’s a somber reminder that riding on public roads in dangerous. On a motorcycle there’s no safety cage, which is part of the fun but also means you might not walk away from a collision like this one.

This is why if you do ride on roads, you have to stay hyper vigilant. You can’t let your guard down even for an instant, which is honestly exhausting, but the potential cost is significant.
