Sweepstakes Ends May 26th!
The Ford Bronco was built as a competitor in the off-road market against the Jeep CJ-5 and International Harvester Scout. The first-generation ran from 1966 through 1977, and it was a hot commodity with an attractive aesthetic and rugged off-road capabilities. These old-school SUVs are even hotter today, and here's your chance to take home a custom 1972 Ford Bronco 4x4. If you click here, you will get double your entries into the sweepstakes! That's right, increase your odds and help out veterans' and children's charities at the same time.
This 1972 Ford Bronco has been fully restored and customized to make one reliable and capable off-road beast. If someone was looking to build one to these standards, the cost could be between $100,000 and $200,000. The exterior of this '72 Bronco is sprayed in a stunning Blue Lagoon Metallic paint over a black weather-resistant interior. The SUV comes with both a removable hardtop and removable soft-top. Even more, the exterior features HID headlights and spotlights, a Wild Horses Rock Blocker with Pre-run top front bumper, and a Wild Horses rear rock blocker bumper. Even more, a set of Diamo Karat 17-inch wheels are bolted all around and come wrapped with 37-inch Pitbull Rocker tires. Other highlights include the 9,500-lb winch, two removable tops, a heavy-duty roll bar, and a swing-out spare tire carrier, cooler rack, and gas-can rack.
Under the hood sits a fuel-injected 392-cubic-inch Ford V8 small-block engine - based off the 351ci Windsor - with power shifted via a heavy-duty Ford SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic transmission inside a Rock Crusher 4x4 transfer case that twists Ford 9-inch locking axles. Also included is a custom exhaust setup with spent gases sent down through shorty headers. Stopping power is provided by boost-assist disc-brakes all around. Even better, this Bronco restomod is equipped with four-wheel-drive that make it more than ready for off-road adventures. Other mechanical highlights include the transmission cooler and cooling fan, Hybrid HI 9 pinion gears in front and back, curved front radius arms, MSD off-road ignition-system, and Ron Davis custom aluminum radiator.
Suspension and lift is all components by Wild Horses including a two-inch body lift, Extreme front shock hoops with dual shocks and 5.5-inch lift coils, and a four-link rear with 5.5-inch coils and single shocks.
Inside the Bronco is the aforementioned rain-resistant interior in black that is equipped with a Bailie Bilt roll cage for safety. Custom upholstered front bucket seats come with five-point safety harnesses, and the dashboard displays a nine-gauge instrument panel by Dakota Digital.
