V8-swapped Porsche 911s seem to be everywhere nowadays. In fact, the swaps have become so common, that people have resorted to removing V8s from the rear-engine sports car and swapping in something completely different. That's what happened to this car, because in its engine bay now sits a turbocharged Honda inline-four. Talk about creative.

This video, uploaded to YouTube yesterday, gives us a short overview of a track-ready 911 that just received a rather unique engine replacement. According to the builder, this car was subject to a Renegade Hybrids V8 swap back in the mid-2000s, but just had that engine replaced with a turbocharged K20A2 four-cylinder from an Acura RSX Type S.

The car is mostly complete, barring some tuning and overheating issues. The builder has yet to reveal power numbers, but we have a feeling they'll match whatever engine was in the bay previously. Watch for yourself as this Honda-powered Porsche comes to life.
