Much like the other 'off-roader' in Honda's line-up, the Pilot, their entry in the pick-up segment is almost practical to a fault. Like Chevrolet's massive Avalanche, the Ridgeline is available only with four doors, and only with 5-foot long bed. That bed does some have some useful tricks though. The tailgate opens like a traditional pick-up, or swings out to the side for easy access to an 8.5 cubic-foot trunk in the bed. Four lights placed around the rear make nighttime loading easy for the 1,100 lb payload, including dirt bikes or ATVs that can latch snuggly into the 79-inch (with the tailgate down) bed. The utilitarianism sneaks way into the cabin with a 60/40-split rear bench that lifts out of the way for smaller cargo like mountain bikes or golf bags. Little details like heated wiper zones that enhance wiper performance in cold weather indicate the Ridgeline is ready to keep occupants happy in any condition. Bigger details like a standard trailer hitch and pre-wiring for seven-pin trailer wiring connectors mean Ridgeline is ready to keep occupants entertained in any adventure. See more... See Less

Pros Cons
Ride - it's a truck that rides like an suv 6 cylinders but worse gas mileage than my 8 cylinder 4-runner
Fuel economy - i am averaging 20.5 mpg in an awd truck Shifitng - shifts rough from take off.
Strong and handles well on the road There's a blind spot when lane changing
Cargo flexibility - rear seats fold up, trunk in cargo bed Interior is not very comfortable for passengers in rear seat
Medium size pickup with back seat for growing children Gas mileage, tail gate does not lock
The wheels on the sport model Remote starter only works in line of sight, rarely from indoors
Storage - lots of storage, very practical Honda does not offer a good choice of colors interior & exterior
4wd system works super - great even on ice. Visibility when passing cars difficult/ no auto lights!
The handling - it rides like a car but sits up higher Insufficient rearward adjustment of driver's seat
Exceptional handling & power for small pick up Cheap feel of steering wheel material.
