Indian Entrepreneur Has Enviable Car Collection

For those who don’t know otherwise, the thought of seeing something exotic like a Ferrari or Lamborghini in India seems ridiculous. However, in Mumbai such vehicles have become regular sights, thanks to an explosion of wealth in the modern city. Helping to illustrate what the collector car scene is like in Mumbai is entrepreneur Amit Singh, who notably purchased the first Indian-made BMW M340i xDrive.

Here’s a sampling of some of the more head-turning vehicles in his garage.

Ferrari 488 Spider

Looking like a proper offering from Maranello in red with black trim and wheels, a Ferrari 488 Spider is certainly an impressive vehicle to spot anywhere. It’s one of the hottest in Singh’s collection, so he’s understandably quite proud of it.

Lamborghini Huracan

For most enthusiasts, a Lamborghini Huracan alone would be enough to make them feel lucky beyond belief. The supercar pushes over 600-horsepower and has looks to make heads turn. Singh decided to add custom lights to his for that extra wow factor.

Ford Mustang

Singh doesn’t just own European exotics, he also has an S550 Mustang in his stable. The yellow pony car was one of the first vehicles he purchased with his newfound success. In places like India, Mustangs are far more exotic than here in the United States. Just imagine if he could get his hands on a Hellcat!

BMW Z4 M40i

Sadly, a lot of people have just glossed over the new BMW Z4, which is an objectively good performance car. Singh sprung for an M40i, which packs the inline-six engine for smooth, enjoyable power delivery. While it came in red, he wrapped it in neon green with black graphics and the number 11 on the doors and hood. Singh calls this car the Green Goblin.

BMW M340i xDrive

Like we said in the intro, Singh was the first one in India to purchase this performance Bimmer when it was first released. While not the priciest or fastest car in his collection, this M340i certainly is noteworthy. It’s also the quickest-accelerating car ever made in India.
