Indian Motorcycle Gears Up for IMS

Indian Motorcycle rolls into this weekend’s International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, California, with big plans. The show marks the first display of the new Ride Command infotainment system.

Long Beach riders are also invited to test ride the new 2017 Indian lineup, including a selection of accessorized models. Demos will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 9am – 5pm in the Long Beach Convention Center parking lot.

The Indian Motorcycle booth will feature the new Ride Command infotainment system, featuring what it claims is the industry’s largest, fastest, and most customizable display. The Scout FTR750 flat track race bike will be on display, and fans can meet team racer Bryan Smith from 6-7 pm on Friday, November 18.

Indian Motorcycle will also support the Beautiful Bikers Conference – a celebration of women who love to ride – which takes place at the Courtyard Marriott Long Beach on Friday November 18. Registration runs 12-4 pm.

That will be followed by The Ground Pounders Block Party, from 5–8 pm on Saturday November 19. Attendees will break out into sessions – Long Distance Riding, Adventure Riding, Beginning Riding, and Accessorizing Your Ride – from 9 am – 12 pm. ("Adventure Riding?" On an Indian? Finally, from 9 am – 1 pm on Sunday November 20, attendees may participate in the Beautiful Bikers Ride, picnic and photoshoot.
