The infamous Tesla road rager who terrorized people in Los Angeles might soon be released from prison. He’s been in prison after a conviction last year, but his stay behind bars could be cut short, allowing him to be back on public roads.
A plumber tried saving an elderly woman from a fatal carjacking.
You might recall how we reported almost a year ago that Nathaniel Walter Redimak was sentenced to five years in prison. Apparently in California that can amount to about a year. The man is possibly up for parole in 2024 but it’s not certain if he will in fact get it.
Radimak attacked numerous people on roads in Los Angeles, getting out of his Tesla, using a metal pipe or crowbar to hit his victims’ cars repeatedly, challenging them to come out and fight him. He often targeted women and older men for reasons you can probably guess.
What’s even more shocking is police found in their investigation of Radimak he has a history of road rage violence, having been arrested for it in the past. In other words, it’s possibly a chronic problem for the guy, so there’s a legitimate concern he might reoffend, putting more people in danger.
KTLA 5 reports Radimak did get credit for the 424 days he served in jail before he was sentenced, so that has helped cut down on his time in prison. He could be paroled later in August, although the conditions of his parole aren’t clear at the moment.
Police allegedly found steroids in Radimak’s car when they arrested him. That has led some to wonder if his road rage attacks were fueled by roid rage. Either way, we think the fact the guy attacked at least 10 people in the Los Angeles area this time around, combined with his past criminal history, is concerning.
