Many cried foul at the introduction of the JX, Infiniti's first Front Wheel driven vehicle, as a betrayal to the brand's sporting roots. Betrayal or not Infiniti intends to sell cars and the crossover segment is a huge market that the Japanese luxury automaker now has stake in. With enough bells and whistles to entertain all seven passengers in its three rows, the JX aims to be a bold alternative against the current offerings. Though AWD is still available, it's clear the standard FWD and smaller 3.5-liter V6 has Infiniti putting an emphasis on people moving over performance for their newest model. One significant convenience for moving those people is the implementation of Infiniti Personal Assistant, a service offered free of charge for the first four years with 24-hour access to live professionals willing to help with anything from roadside assistance to making dinner reservations. Cooler yet is the ability for cars equipped with Infiniti Connection to have a Personal Assistant find a restaurant, make a reservation, and have directions sent directly to the vehicles navigation system. As an industry first the JX is also available with a system that automatically brakes if rear-facing sensors detect crossing vehicles or objects. See more... See Less
