Can't wait until the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler hits the sales floor? Well, Jeep's thought ahead for you, because it's reportedly planning on introducing several limited edition current-generation models before the new Wrangler premieres.

According to Automotive News, new dealer ordering information indicates Jeep will be bringing Wrangler "Sport Freedom" and "Sahara Winter" editions to the market in December, in order to keep sales strong right up until the new model is introduced.

The patriotic Sport Freedom edition will reportedly be decked out with "Freedom star" hood and rear fender decals, an American flag decal on the driver's side front fender, big 18-inch granite crystal wheels, and other exclusive badges.

The off-road focused Sahara Winter edition will come complete with rock rails, full LED lighting, a standard hard top, remote-start, and of course, a whole bunch of unique badges and decals.

Automotive News says even more special editions will be coming to the market later next year to fully capitalize on the end of the JK-series Wrangler production run. According to its sources, those variants include a Sport Big Bear edition, a Sahara Chief edition, a Sahara Smoky Mountain edition, and a Rubicon Recon edition.
