John Cena, the renowned actor and WWE superstar, is selling his rare Jaguar XJ13 replica, a hand-built homage to one of the most iconic racing prototypes in automotive history. This stunning car, constructed by Predator Performance in Largo, Florida, is now up for auction with no reserve on Bring a Trailer, offered through Naples Motorsports in Naples, Florida.
The original Jaguar XJ13 was designed in the 1960s as a mid-engined V12 prototype intended for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, due to rule changes and the dominance of competitors like the Ford GT40, the XJ13 never raced. Only one original XJ13 was ever built, making replicas like this the closest enthusiasts can get to experiencing the car’s remarkable design and performance.
Cena's XJ13 replica is powered by a 6.0-liter Jaguar HE V12 engine, producing thrilling power thanks to custom electronic fuel injection and Electromotive direct-fire ignition coils. Paired with a ZF 5-speed manual transaxle, this car delivers a pure driving experience reminiscent of its 1960s counterpart. It also features modern upgrades like a tubular steel spaceframe chassis and fiberglass body, along with a right-hand drive conversion completed in 2020.
The car’s luxurious interior features double-diamond stitched Buttercream leather with Caramel carpeting, accented by a wood-rimmed steering wheel and traditional gauges. With only 220 miles on the odometer, this meticulously crafted replica is ready for a new owner to enjoy both its vintage appeal and modern engineering.
