Do you find yourself drawn to the television like a moth to a flame anytime there are reruns of Baywatch? If so, you might be drawn to your nearest Land Rover dealership next, because the British marque has released an extremely limited-production version of the Defender called the Beach Break edition.

Baywatch, er, Beach Break Edition

Ok, so the 2025 Land Rover Defender Beach Break wasn't actually inspired by the TV show that featured a bunch of attractive lifeguards bouncing around on a beach in slow motion. However, it was designed with similar vibes in mind, with Land Rover saying it took inspiration from surf culture in America, specifically locations in Malibu, California, and the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.

The Beach Break edition is based on the four-door Defender 110, and it has the P300 powertrain (a.k.a. a 296-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder). Along with a white-painted roof, the BB features rainbow-like side graphics over a Tasman Blue paint job. While the colorful decals look a lot like the ones on the Ford Bronco Sport Free Wheeling, the Land Rover's have a more subdued appearance. Plus, we dig the Defender's white wheels, which you might not have noticed are no longer steel but now made of aluminum.

Land Rover only plans to sell 20 examples of the Defender Beach Break, and they start at $73,325 apiece. What else do you get for that money, besides making all your beach buds jealous? Well, there's a badge on the liftgate that reads "Beach Break 1/20" (but oddly not which one out of 20) and other add-ons such as rooftop crossbars, side-mounted steps, and a saddle-style gear box. We can't tell from the photos, but it looks like the BB does not come equipped with Land Rover's deployable roof ladder. At least the widdle wadder can be bought from Land Rover's accessories store.
