Layne Riggs Dislocates Shoulder Celebrating First NASCAR Truck Series Win
Layne Riggs played spoiler Sunday evening in the first race of the NASCAR Truck Series playoffs. After missing out on the playoffs, Riggs entered the LiUNA 175 at the Milwaukee Mile with a chip on his shoulder. After passing Ty Majeski in the final stage, he would go on to win and, while fist pumping and jumping on the roof of his car, would dislocate said shoulder.
He got off the roof and was quickly
surrounded by his pit crew, who worked to get his shoulder back into its

"I dislocated my shoulder!" Riggs told FOX: NASCAR. "I was celebrating so hard. It hurts like a mother, but it was worth it. It's not the first time it's happened to me, and it's not going to slow me down."
Riggs won in his 23rd truck series start, but it was just one race too late to have made the playoffs.
Riggs passed Majeski at the Wisconsin native's home track on lap 123 of 175 and controlled the final 53 laps. The next eight trucks to finish the race would all be playoff contenders, with the next highest finisher outside the playoffs being the No. 88 of Matt Crafton in tenth.
