Listen to the Next Porsche 911 GT3 Wail Around the Nurburgring

From Road & Track

Even though the next Porsche 911 GT3 has yet to be officially revealed, we already know quite a lot about it. For instance, we're pretty sure we know what it looks like thanks to a "leak" via children's coloring book, but more importantly, we know it'll have a naturally aspirated flat-six and a six-speed manual. Yes, even though the regular 911 is turbocharged now, the top dog is still N/A.

Now, thanks to this video from YouTuber Gumbal, we know what it sounds like too. It's almost identical to its predecessor, which is great news, because the 911 GT3 was one of the best sounding road cars ever made.

We're pleased that Porsche will offer a six-speed manual in the GT3, but this prototype sounds like it's running around the 'Ring with a PDK gearbox. Otherwise, the GT3 should also receive the same cosmetic and interior upgrades as the new Carrera.

This, along with the crazy GT2 RS, are the upcoming Porsches we're most excited about. Let's hope their Nürburgring testing means we'll see them soon.
