LSU women's basketball: Flau'jae Johnson teases potential DJ Khaled musical collaboration

BATON ROUGE – Flau'jae Johnson and DJ Khaled are potentially joining forces.

Johnson, the LSU women's basketball guard and rapper who is signed with Jay-Z's record label Roc Nation, teased on Instagram on Monday an upcoming song collaboration with the famous DJ and record producer.

"Wow, God Doing His Big One..." Johnson wrote. "Flaujae X @djkhaled coming soon."

This has been a surreal last couple of weeks for Johnson.

The baller/rapper helped LSU win its first national championship in program history on April 2. She started in the title game and won the SEC Freshman of the Year award.

Off the court, along with her apparent collaboration with Khaled, she also is expected to link up with five-time Grammy award winner Lil Wayne for a musical collab. Wayne made his intentions known on the "Bird and Taurasi Show" during LSU's Final Four matchup against Virginia Tech.

"We're about to connect musically soon," Wayne said.

Wayne, a Louisiana native and LSU fan, also narrated the Tigers' Final Four hype video. However, after Wayne did a FaceTime call with Miami before LSU ahead of the Tigers' matchup with the Hurricanes in the Elite 8, Angel Reese called him out.

"I got in trouble from the Bayou Barbie," Wayne said on Bird and Taurasi's. "She let me know ... I got checked. Bayou Barbie checked me. It's all good."
