A woman in Massachusetts had two of the windows on her truck shattered in a road rage shooting that left her shaken. This is the sort of hotheadedness we hate to see but that seems to be everywhere these days, from big cities to more rural parts of the country as people take their life stress out on other drivers.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Boston, Medway is the type of place most would least expect an incident like this to unfold. That might be why the victim was so shocked when it happened.
As she told Boston 25 in an interview, she was headed to her place of employment early in the morning while traveling on 495 North when a white Honda Civic started tailgating her pickup truck. We’ve all been there with someone thinking they’re going to teach you something by tailgating, but she wasn’t prepared for what came next.
As she moved to get off the highway, the Civic driver maneuvered to block her access to the exit ramp. Then the other driver shot the passenger side rear window of her pickup, then the window on the rear of the bed shell, shattering the glass on both.
Police believe the suspect used a BB gun, not a real firearm. Still, it’s an unnecessary response when someone does something you don’t like on the road.
The woman told Boston 25 she couldn’t move out of the lane she was in because another truck was driving next to her. It sounds like she perhaps was in the left lane and the Honda driver decided she wasn’t going fast enough. While we know it can be frustrating to have someone going slow in the fast lane, responding with violence isn’t the solution.
