Upon introduction, the SLK230 Kompressor is equipped with a standard 2.3-liter, I4, 190-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 29-mpg on the highway. The SLK320 is equipped with a standard 3.2-liter, V6, 215-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.

Performance is snappy and smooth . snappy as in quick response Must use fob to unlock trunk - cannot do it from inside car
Love over all appearance of car both inside and out Handling in adverse conditions ie rain, snow
Hard top convertible - ease of operating Auto seat adjustment - have to hold button until seat is in place
