TOM BRADY, FELLOW NFL alum Michael Strahan has a message for you post-retirement.

On February 1, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced that he planned to hang up his cleats nearly one year after coming out of retirement to play in the 2022-2023 NFL season. Similarly to when he rejoined the Florida-based team back in March 2022, Brady took to Twitter to share his career news and express his appreciation.

"I'm retiring for good ... I really thank you guys so much," he said in a short video. "To every single one of you for supporting me. My family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors ... I could go on forever. There's too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn't change a thing. Love you all."

Amid Brady's news quickly going viral on social media, Good Morning America co-anchor and former football player Strahan took a second to share a message with him through the TV screen. As he told co-hosts Lara Spencer and George Stephanopoulos, he understood what it meant to leave football.
