Motorsports Hall of Fame of America Fundraising Auction now live
Skip Barber is going into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (MSHFA) next year, and the MSHFA Museum’s latest fundraising auction offers a unique two-tiered experience celebrating the American motorsports icon and racing school pioneer on his induction in the MSHFA’s Class of 2025. The loaded package includes an ultimate Skip Barber Racing School three-day experience for one and the priceless opportunity for the winner and a companion to join Barber as his personal VIP guests at the two-day 37th MSHFA Induction Celebration presented by Toyota Racing, March 10 -11, in Daytona Beach.
The dual Skip Barber experience auction is available exclusively on automotive auction industry leader Bring a Trailer (BaT) from now through next Monday. Visit bringatrailer.com to register on BaT and bid directly on this rare and exclusive opportunity.
The winning bidder receives the three-day racing experience for one at a Skip Barber Racing School (SBRS) location of the winner’s choice. The Motorsports Hall of Fame Induction experience includes VIP tickets for two to the March 10 – 11 induction celebration, where the winner and one guest will be treated to seats at Skip Barber’s personal table as well as entry into a private reception with Barber and notable SBRS graduates.
The package also includes an exclusive President’s Tour of the MSHFA Museum on the grounds of Daytona International Speedway as well as memorabilia signed by Barber and various SBRS graduates and current drivers. The winning bid for this no-reserve auction, including the BaT buyer’s fee, will be donated to the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (MSHFA), which is operated by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation. The MSHFA’s mission is to honor its “Heroes of Horsepower” inductees and their winning American motorsports accomplishments and to preserve their legacies for generations to come. Barber will be inducted in the Sports Cars category as one of nine new members set to be ushered into the Hall of Fame of all Motorsports next March.
The Skip Barber experience follows a one-on-one luncheon and GM Global Tech Center tour with GM President Mark Reuss that was on the block earlier this year and a Team Penske VIP Tour of its North Carolina headquarters auctioned this summer as the first three major auction fundraising initiatives the MSHFA has introduced in 2024 with the kind support of the top organizations and corporations in the motorsports and automotive industries.
“Our first two auctions with Mark Reuss and Team Penske were very successful, and we can’t thank them enough, and we are confident that this unique Skip Barber Racing School and VIP MSHFA Induction Experience with Skip Barber himself will be just as popular,” said MSHFA President George Levy.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continuous support of Bring a Trailer as well as Dan DeMonte and Anthony DeMonte from the Skip Barber Racing School and, of course, Skip himself for not hesitating to share his personal induction experience with our winning bidder and a guest. All of these great people and organizations share our passion and dedication to preserving the great legacy of American motorsports for generations to come, and we truly can’t do it without all of their selfless support.”
